Satisfactory Academic Progress

Federal regulations require all student financial aid recipients to make satisfactory academic progress (SAP) toward achieving a degree. The review of satisfactory academic progress must include both quantitative and qualitative components. 这是经过测量的 by the student’s cumulative grade point average and pace of credits earned in relation to those attempted and the length of the academic program. Important Deadline Information:

SAP appeals and academic reviews may only be submitted during certain timeframes. 看到我们的 重要的日子 to review these deadlines. Documents submitted after the published deadline may not be considered until the next semester.

SAP GPA类型:

Student's "Inclusive Combined GPA" will be used to determine SAP status. 一个学生 may view their Inclusive Combined GPA on 万仕达 > Web Self Service > Student > Student Records > Student GPA.

This form must be completed when a student has been notified by the Office of Student 金融援助 that their SAP violation requires an appeal. Supporting documentation should be uploaded with the appeal. Indicate your A# on each uploaded page.

• • Supporting Letter for SAP 上诉
    
    This form may be completed by a third party in support of a student's appeal in place of a letter of support. This is most common when an appeal is due to personal difficulties.
• SAP Academic Review Form

This form must be completed when a student has been notified by the Office of Student 金融援助 that an academic review is required. This form must be completed by the student's academic advisor.
